Junction City is actually the site of what was to be Manhattan, Kansas. However, due to low water conditions the steam ship delivering settlers was only able to get as far as Manhattan’s current location-leaving the original location open to eventually become Junction City.
With more than 20,000 residents, Junction City has grown to be a family-friendly community-rich in history, filled with adventure, and embracing a bright future.
We are always looking for ways to help build spiritual value in our communities in Junction City and the surrounding areas. Our members actively participate in local events and we strive as a congregation to be a positive influence to people living here as well as visitors passing through.
