Our Beliefs
We believe and teach that Jesus is the Christ, that He was crucified on the cross, buried dead in the tomb and resurrected on the third day.
- 1 Cor 15:3-4 “…Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures…”
- 1 Peter 2:24 “…and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross…”
- Galatians 1:4 “…who gave Himself for our sins so that He might rescue us from this present evil age…”
God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit
We believe in and we surrender our lives to the one God who made the heavens and earth and who breathed life into humanity. We worship and praise the Father who spoke the world into existence. We worship and praise Jesus, the Son, who died upon the cross to redeem us from sin. We worship and praise the Holy Spirit who is the seal of our salvation.
The cornerstone of our faith is our belief in Jesus Christ. Everything we hold dear in our faith originates from his words and his way of life (John 3:16, John 12:47-48, Hebrews 12:2, 1 John 2:5-6). We believe that Jesus is the only way to come into a relationship with God, and our teaching is centered on His life, His death, His resurrection, His timeless teachings, and His ultimate calling to every man and woman to follow Him.
Our devotion, total commitment and ultimate loyalties are to the Father, who is over all and in all and through all; to Jesus the Son, who has been declared both Lord and Christ; and to the Holy Spirit, who lives in us and empowers us to overcome the workings of the sinful nature (Acts 2:22-36, Romans 8:12-28).
Our eternal purpose is to know God and to glorify him as God and let our life shine so others will see God (Matthew 5:14-15, Ephesians 3:19-20). In light of the example set by the early disciples of Jesus, every member of our congregation is encouraged to be devoted to reading, studying, and applying the Bible in their every-day life situations.

Commitment to Love with Sincerity
In addition to believing that the Bible must be the standard for our lives, we emphasize the need for one-another relationships where deep friendships and a strong sense of family can be developed and maintained. Whether in one-on-one, small group, or congregational settings, we use these relationships to encourage each other in what we hold to be both the greatest commandment and our greatest desire—loving God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength and our neighbor as ourselves.
We believe that salvation comes by way of hearing and understanding the Word of God and making a conscious decision to commit to a lifestyle that honors Jesus. We believe that the decision to consummate a restored relationship with God is to emulate the death, burial and resurrection of Christ through baptism for the remission of sins (Act. 2:38-42; Rom. 6:4-6; 1Pe. 3:21).
